Dr. Sam Gipp Exposed
Dr. Sam Gipp has recently held a conference, and currently is still preaching tonight in Elgin, IL at Northwest BBC. The statements that Dr. Gipp has made are not only heretical, off the wall, and completely fabricated, but Dr. Gipp has attacked the very precious name of Jesus itself. In his sermons, he has stated that Jesus was not meant to be called “Jesus” by his parents but Emmanuel. He reasoned that because his parents DISOBEYED GOD and named him Jesus instead that he had come to his own and “his own received him not.” Taking the verse about the people of Israel out of context and applying it unto Mary and Joseph.
This is blasphemy! There are many more heretical statements in his videos, but in order to get the full grasp of this and let God put some righteous indignation in you, you need to hear it for yourself.

I had already believed that he was an unsaved false prophet before this because of what he said about Christ not being his Messiah. These teachings of his are just as evil and wicked. God made plain all throughout the Bible that there has always been one way of salvation for all people. For example, Galatians 3 makes it clear that God preached the gospel to Abraham. It is ridiculous to think they (Joseph and Mary) were disobeying God when they were commanded to call him Jesus. If you listen to what Gipp is saying, he also is saying that Mary and Joseph did not receive Christ. He is wicked and needs to be exposed.

It doesn’t surprise me to hear the precious name of Jesus, the name above all names, and the name that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess to attacked, by the Hebrew roots Yeshua crowd, but I never in my wildest dreams thought I would hear a Baptist preacher allude to the name of Jesus as being a mistake. It honestly should not come as a surprise though, to hear the man who adamantly deceives believers by saying they will not see tribulation, and that there are three different gospels, that he would attack the name of Jesus.

This is ridiculous. Sam Gipp claims to believe in the inspiration and preservation of the King James Bible, but he does not even believe that we have the correct name of Jesus Christ?!! If His name was not supposed to be Jesus, then why doesn’t the Bible tell us that? It actually tells us the exact opposite. God gave Him that name and exalted it above all others! Sam Gipp is a heretick and should be rejected. Philippians 2:9-10 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
